CommentsAlthough the New Jersey assembly has approved same sex marriage, Gov Chris Christie as vetoed it. Something tells me that if he were 250 pounds lighter, and looked good in a tank top, he would have signed it in a heartbeat.......and if you think that's bad, Rick Santorum is so conservative, when he goes to KFC, he only orders the right wings....so anti-gay that he doesn't even want pirates touching their own booty..... so anti-gay that he won't even order a Hershey bar if it has nuts.....he's so conservative that he thinks a Labradoodle is the result of a same sex marriage....... and BD is so anti-gay that he continually watched that David Beckham commercial over and over for hours. For research he says.......

CommentsLittle Girl Blue, if your still out and monitoring the waves, RSVP. There's this great movie with Clive Owen called "Children of Men". It's set in the near future when women can no longer get pregnant so the world's dying. Clive's taking a train home and see's some graffitti on a wall, "last one alive turn out the lights". I'm beginnig to know what it means. I won't go into detail but the battle scenes are spectacular for a good reason. Blue RSVP

CommentsElton John will rip that bitch a new A-hole. This bitch Elton can slap fight with the best of them. A couple years ago He jammed up Liza, and you saw what she did to her husband. Then I know McCartney sent him after his one legged ex-wife. After he ripped off her pirate stump he bitch slapped her and stuck the stump up his boy friend's ass. Can some one tell me who the hell is Paula Dean and why I should care? Anyway, I wouldn't want to jam with Elton. He slaps you down, you'll think you're in "Deliverance". You will squeel.

CommentsI had either the Saints or Packers winning the bowl. It's the Patriots to lose. Maybe beating The Ravens and Giants will let these guys sleep in peace for the rest of they're lives. I don't care how much you make or what you've done, those two losses have to give you nightmares. Good Luck New England. Derrie Downe Downe.

CommentsI, like every one else in this area, feel the Patriots should beat the Bronco's big time. But there is a group of people who feel the Pat's are going to lose. That's the Bronco's. I'm a big fan of the vibe. The Bronc's have the vibe. And if the Pat's don't come out and immediately dominate these bozo's and if it goes into the fourth quarter close, anything can happen. They have a kicker that boots 50 yarders like chip shots. He's the one who won some of these close games for them. Not Tebow. Brady, Brees, Rodgers, Rivers, these guys throw passes in miliseconds. Tebow has a wind-up. It's like a Wakefield knuckleball. But they can run and ram it down your throat. Keep the Pats offense off the field. Lull you to sleep and bang! The Pats pass D sucks. I'm still going Pats but I hope it's more than 13 points. That's how Big Duke 6 sees it. Pats by 21. Below 10, I don't know.

CommentsNoticed on Google today is Mark Twain's 176th birthday. The guys getting old. I think I once told Pat McDermott he was Roger Clemens uncle. No one has mentioned Boston's finest lately. I know the "B'Shteell" is out there keeping me safe, "uh 3 sugars Mike." Jim Driscoll was mentioned. Tony Quinn living in Florida. (27 arrests, no convictions). But I'd like to say a word about Sgt Mike Cassanelli. MIke's been a cop since he got out of the Air Force as an MP. And that's where this story begin's and ends. If you don't know Mike look in the dictionary under the word "deviate". There should be a picture of him. Anyway, Mike was stationed in a place called Diego Garcia. A base on an island off the coast of India. So Mike gets drunk, hops a MAC flight to Calcutta, breaks into a leper colony and rapes Mother Theresa. Mike, if you get to hell before me, put in a good word. I'll do likewise.

Comments4am. Just found out NBA is on. I was hoping for a full year without hoops. Don't get me wrong, I love round ball. I was just looking foward to a year without having to listen to the likes of Bugsy, Ray McCormack, Hawko, etc. give thier spiels on a game they know nothing about. Zero. They'll read Shaughnessy and the like and pass it off as thier own. They get together and reminess about the days of Bob Gamere. Good times. Good times. #33 Worship his sweaty jock. He couldn't wipe MJ's ass. I'm begging you wet heads, stick to what you know. Men's figs. Johnny Wier. "I got a 9.2 on my compulthorie's." Leave hoops to the players. Blue Sky knows more.

CommentsOne of the news shows did a report on fights in bars in Boston these days. It's pretty mild. I remember the "1978 Battle for Kenmore Square". We had the whole Square tied up for a good half hour. That's when Steven,I don't have to use a last name if you were there, ran some dude over. Then of course there were the battles of Savin Hill and Corey's. That's not to mention the Eddie's brawls that were kept in house. I can't believe it's been over four years since that reunion and some people are over 60. Anyway you old people take warmth in knowing that according to Brian Green's new show on PBS this is one big illusion and there is a WPOD - Luongo Club softball game going on up Ronan right now. Unfortunatly, my illusion has me working the early morning hours, 11-15-11. Otherwise known as the "Ides of November".

CommentsSteve Weve, Dave Sweeney here. Had some bootleg shirts made up in some sweatshop in Chinatown. I've been making a killing. But lets face it, there's only one person cheaper than you and that's me. Maybe I shouldn't put it that way. But you are tight. But me, I just got circumcised after 57 years so I could sell my foreskin. And I made a few good bucks off of it. Why anyone would want that slab of bacon is beyond me. Anyway, my point is we could sit at a bar and haggle over a price until they kick us out for not buying anything. Check Steve Calabro. He's got some "slightly irregulars" from Thailand.

CommentsI'm in front of Eddie's and there's Doc O'Connor, Bugsy, Ray McCormack and Tom Zion. They're waiting for an ITOA Limo to go see Wierd Al Yankovic. Ray says to Doc, "Let me use your crack pipe." Doc says "no way. You got a herpes the size of a Susan B. Anthony. You look like Boy George without the make-up." Ray says "yeah, but I got them from you". And Doc says "but when they were mine they were genital." Steve Calabro rubs his crotch looks around and says "where's Henry Bender?" Bugsy says "he's at Jauques with Mike and Jimmie Cass". Doc relents and gives Ray the pipe. The two of them disappear. Mike McDermott and Rose Tabby show up. Rosie's obviously knocked. The idiot BD thinks it's his. I ask BD for a smoke. He says, "Dude, you can ausfahrt or einfahrt. But get the f off my autobahn." I don't smoke anyway. I just like seeing how cheap he is. A Maverick I sold to Pat McDermott for $500 pulls up. Obviously needing exhaust work. He's got Big "D" riding shot gun. Cloud of extremely cheap reefer halo's thier big heads. He stares at the Maverick like it's got Beverly Hills licence plates. Success is in the mind of the Dude who's out 5. Mike "the Bastille" Griffin tells me next time he's driving a dump truck he's bustin' Joe Kibo. In the distance a harmonica blares down Bowdoin. It's getting louder. None other than the duo of Paul Lembo and Peter Walsh. Now I know where those pictures came from. They go into a Frank and Nancy Sinatra duet. Peter does a mean Nancy and damn he looks good in boots. Last thing I remember seeing is Mike O'Connor and Paul Bruno coming towards me holding hands. Isn't he dead? Only one girl in the whole story and it's Rose Tabby. I think a shrink is in order. Life's a computor program. How else can you explain Dave Sweeney. Throw the switch and end it please.

It was like heaven on the other side of the Sumner or Callahan tunnel. I don't know which is which. So I had a stripper living next store to me. She was Scottish and a redhead, a real redhead. So one night she must of dug down real deep into her thick red skull and came up with a request I've never been able to understand or fullfil. She said, "Pat, teach me the ways of the American man." What the F does that mean? I couldn't come up with any lesson that would satisfy the request. But I did teach her the ways of the 20 something sexually disturbed and deviate Dorchester boy. I think I did the borough proud. I'll add this. When I told her I was going to do this to her she responded, "well flip me over." A true tale of youth, lust and Scottish-American schooling.

CommentsI ran into Dave the other day. He has retired from 103. He has started his own business. He's got a "metro-sexual" annus bleaching biz. He's got two shops. In Boston and P-Town. He's got the entire New England concession for "Brown Eye" removal. I never gave this much thought but I guess "brown eye" is frowned upon in the Chippendales, Alexes, and King Arthurs world. I'm told the service last for no more than a month. He's got steady work. He's providing a service, filling a hole if you will. When I spoke to him he had just come back from Fire Island. He's testing the waters of NYC. Then straight down the coast till Key West. In two years he'll be a millionaire. His tools are simple, bleach, a rat file, and a tooth brush. I wonder who's brush it is. He asked if I knew a good name for the biz. I'm stumped. I told him I'd throw it out to the Home Page. He said who ever came up with the best name will receive a years worth of free bleaching by Dave himself. Just thinking, what if He comes up with the name. Anyway, if you see Dave, wish him good luck, and if you shake hands, wear gloves.

CommentsI ran into Dorchester's #1 electricion last week. The Legend was out in Vegas last month and ran into a problem and asked me for advice. Why me? I don't know. Anyway, He's in Vegas booked in at a Motel 6. No Ceasers. No Wynns. No MGM. Top shelf M-6. Well Vegas P.D. gets a tip there's an armed robbery suspect holed up in the same Motel 6 that "Edison" Sweeney's in. So they know what room this cat's in and they're evacuating the building. So to keep it quiet instead of knocking if the door's unlocked they're going in and sneaking the guests out. So they come to Sweeney's room and there he is. He got his main mast up straight and firm and he's furiously trying to pull up the main sail. So they pull him out naked into the street and it's Dave, the rest of the guests, and a very hard coat rack. So Dave asks me if he can sue Vegas P.D. for embaressment caused by this incident. My response, go get 'em Dave.

CommentsAbout a year ago someone asked if anyone remembered a guy from Eddies picking up a Drag Queen. No one responded but I was there when the incident took place. It was in the mid-70's and we were coming out of the Other Side. On hind sight he didn't realize Jaques was right across the street. Anyway it was Tom Zion. He struck up a conversation with this guy/girl and they took off together. In Tom's defense the girl/guy was good looking. So he went out with him/her for about a week and when he went to consumate the relationship, Suprise! Sausage and meatballs. So in Tom's defense again, two weeks after the "suprise" he broke it off.

CommentsHere's a little tale that happened a few years back. I was over someone's house with someone's wife, he's got red hair and I'm not going to name him so we'll just call him "Hawk". So we're getting it on and all the sudden you can here this muffler deficient car pull up. "GET THE F OUT" she screams. "It's him." Pulls my pants, throws on my shoes and heads for the door. I open the door and there's the Hawk staring me down. "Who the F are you?, he asks. "Hubida hubida hubida...I'm selling a vacuum cleaner to your wife." "Where is it? he asks. "I left it at the shop" I lied. "I'll be right back". I was gone. Close call. What happened to his wife? Who gives an F. About a month later I'm down the Odd-Fellows Hall in Lakeville. Drinkin draftees with the guys and who walks in but the Hawk. Right away I could feel the "stink eye". I'm lookin. There's no way out but the door. I gotta go through him. We're gonna lock assholes. He clenches his fists and walks up to me. "I'm still waiting for that vacuum cleaner."

My dad was so happy to have seen all of you - you all made it a happy day. It was so nice to know that you all still cared and remember my brother, Jack.

CommentsYes- people have contacted me about any upcoming time. It was suggested that about every 5 years was a good spacing so that people get to miss each other again. That would make another one in 2012. It takes about a year to get an organizing committee and people together to run it. We will be looking for volunteers in 2011 for a 2012 event. We really need volunteers to do it. We are looking to you "younger" people in terms of age to step up.
Another great time like the 2007 Quincy event is on people's minds, espaecially since some of us may not be here as time goes on, unfortunately.

CommentsGreetings Prodigal Son: If you go to the blog and look in the light grey-ish white horizontal bar, second section down, where it shows number of comments and click on that, (i think it says "40 comments" right now) it will bring you to the comments page, then go to the bottom where the typing box is. Very similar to last time, with the choice of name, url, etc. and the weird confirming/verifying thing where you have to type the word you see to verify, like here on this blog. In case you didn't have the correct address for it as it was changed awhile back, I will check it and post here correctly. Nice to hear from you whoever you are......and Mr. Morehouse, I have a question related to the Paula Memorial Mass so I will send that to you at the email you provided. On another note, do we have any interest brewing (Dino?) for a reunion, possibly in October, maybe on the 15th, with costumes? Stupid idea? Well then how about Florian Hall, same night, they have lots of parking, its kind of centrally located and we can figure out a good cause to give proceeds to. Maybe make it a little more casual, with a cool band... Just wondering....

His mother and mine were nurses together at St. Margaret's hospital for many years. Today is May 8th, Mothers' day and also, according to the information on the site, the day that Sgt. Moran gave his life for his country. May God bless all our fallen heroes, and all our mothers.

CommentsI ran in to about to retire BPD Rupert Leonard, who was the actual walking beat cop on Bowdoin Street for the last 30, yes THIRTY, years. He came on the job with me in November 2, 1977 and he is still the same regular guy and good cop that he was since 1977.
He is the Walter Fahy of Ronan Park , but from the 1977 class and about to retire.
Rupert is an example that all the new cops should follow.
Thanks Rupert for walking our old street neighborhood and doing a great job

CommentsI grew up at the far end of the parish, at 29 Bowdoin St., near Four Corners. Attended SPS for eight years, was an altar boy and graduated 1963. Went to CM graduating in '67. After my dad died, in '70, my mother, sister and I moved to Beaumont St., Saint Brendan's. Appointed to the MBTA Police in '71 retired in 2001. Got married in '72 to Betty Ford from Milton St, Dot. Still married 'after all these years'...God Bless her. Had 2 kids, now 31 & 30 and on their own. Lived in St. Brendan's until 2001 when we moved to Falmouth. "Life's been good to me, so far"! Unfortunately, have had very little contact with Saint Peter's since '63. Would like to connect with SPS '63 classmates. Thank you.

CommentsHeeeeyyyyyyy BooBoo, whaddya say we rustle up a picnic basket!? Um, o.k., going out on the proverbial icy limb here. Have a verrryy strong feeling the CheeseHeads are going to embarrass the SteelHeads. And I do not know know poop about pigskin. Except that I was quite happy (for a scant few days) to have my wishful guessing come true for the home town boys. A lot of good it did them. Anyway, only a mere 278 days till Halloween weekend. How are we doing on the Reunion for 2011??? C'mon people, masks with feathers, waistcoats, knickers and white tights for the men; bustiers, corsets, cleavage and elbow length gloves for the ladies? How we can we not be all over this? Seriously now, I know some of you might be concerned we won't find the potted orange trees for the ballroom but not to worry I think I know where we can get quite a deal on them. Let that be the least of our concerns. Hear Ye! Hear Ye! We need INTEREST! Enthusiasm! Bodies! Send many emails to the Head Honchos at the MHH Bat Cave. How about a Rock-A-Billy band? CommentsThis is a rough Superbowl. This is about as evenly matched as you can get. Early spread is 2 - 2 & 1/2 on GB. I'm putting at least a duece on GB. Maybe it will drop to one. I think right now Rodgers is the best QB. I'd appreciate some input and insight. But please, not from these Bozo's I've mentioned. I've got to check out the interviews. Right now the most important thing is the team vibe. Last year I heard 30 seconds of Drew Brees and I picked NO to win reguardless of the spread. I don't know if anyone has noticed but GB has devoloped a running game in the past 3 weeks. Go GB.

CommentsI concur with the statement about Pete Walsh. He might talk for a few hours, but he did know what he was talking about. Unlike some people. We're all to old to do this now, but I'd like to tell you about one of the best scams ever played in the history of Eddies. It was orchestrated by the "legend" himself, Miles Load. He would tell his humongous titted girlfriend, I won't say her name but I'm sure most of you know who I'm talking about, to meet him up the tavern. He'd tell her to get there about 8 or 9 and he'd see her around 12. Here's where the genious starts. They had 3 or 4 marks. The plan was she'd walk in tits first, spot a mark and sit beside him. She'd ask if he had change for a $50 or $100, now remember this was in the 80's so that was a lot of doe. If the mark said yeah she'd tell him she might need it later. If he said no, he was a memory and she'd move on to her next target. Once she got a "go" she'd hustle this fool for white russians half grams. Around mid-night Miles would show up after the idiot spent his weeks pay on getting her high and he'd say let's go. She's all F'd up at someone elses expence and the deviate Load would take his drunken mistress home. Like him or not, you've got to give him credit. By the way, does anyone reading this remembered getting worked ? Green Bay and Pittsburg in the Soup.

CommentsKeith Richards is, and always has been, a total hottie. Sadness rules the day. What kind of complete idiot goes to New York to watch a Patriots game against the Evil Jets?? Me. I did. Had to work. Had lots of confidence in my team. Had a freaking migraine on Monday morning from all the screaming at my television and completely upset the folks in the suite next to me. They were from Australia. I tried to explain while apologizing and they didn't give a crap about the game. Zero compassion. Still in shock. Don't believe what I saw. Did Brady really get put on the ground five times? Did Branch really drop those balls? Did they really take SEVEN minutes to run those plays on that one possession with so little time left in the game? I don't know anything about football. Just love my team. Someone please jump in here and tell me what the hell happened. How do you acquire a 14-2 season then leave it all on the field, your home field no less, and walk away defeated? Why fall to that team with the seemingly hopeless quarterback and the loudmouth classless coach? Why the hell was Brady sitting alone on the sidelines? Something going on backstage that we didn't know about? He was so emotional a few games back he had a total freaked out meltdown on the sidelines from yelling at the team. Not this time. Need more aspirin.....

CommentsThat has to be the biggest choke in football. I could see losing to Baltimore, but the Jets. The Steelers will not allow this. Pitt and Greenbay in the Soup. I see I've touched a nerve with one of these non athletic dudes. Or maybe he's pissed cause Johnny Weir got a 7.3 on his compulsories. Couldn't land the triple axle. Maybe his ass was sore from a night with Brian "9 inch" Boitano. Good luck with that fool. I don't care how much you get paid, you've got to live with that all summer. Brady's wife, Giz, is going to kill him in a helicopter this summer anyway. Put him out of his misery. If anyone sees Tom Zion tell him Big Duke 6 is looking for him, I want to take flying lessons. Tell him to call me it's in the book. D-Conroy is a very attractive man. Baseball six weeks. Go Yankees! I've got a perc problem. I'm growing my hair long. My kid says I look like Einstien. Now I've got the looks and the brains. I'd give anything to pull one more allnigher with Bugsy, Sweeny, McCormack, and Peter Walsh and talk sports up the Shoe at 9 am. At least Pete knows what he's talking about. I wish I went to that lacross game last night. I hear it was quite the half-time show. Of to church bye. Mike Harkins rocks!

CommentsThat's why they play the game. Sure they're favored and are the better team. But on any day, anything can happen. Just ask Drew Brees. So if they go on to lose there will be people who have no idea what they're talking about give they're opinion why they lost. I'll name a few. Bugsy and Dave Sweeny. There are quite a few more. I'm sure you know them. People who can't play sports but want to be one of "the guys" so give thier spiel anyway. But they won't give it until they read Shaughnessy, Ryan, or that gay dude. Then they'll try to pass it off as thier own. Dude you know nothing about it. Stay back. You're a closet men's fig watcher. Jets are loose, Pats nervous. Loosen up and you'll win. Big Duke 6. I know. I got it all figured out. Dennis Johnson was a sucky guard. He luckeed out and played on a team with one of the great front courts of all time. I remember having a hangover and having to listen to Bugsy and Ray McCormack tell me that Maxwell was better than McHale. Ughh.

CommentsTKATT, I saw PBS show the other night about getting elected in Japan. Basicaly the Diet, or Congress, helps you get elected and they come flat out and tell you, "now you do as we say." Same as U.S. but we like to give the impression of free will. Congress obeys it's Master and now Boner's, aka "The Hard-On" holds the whip. All you union guys ask your buddie Lynchie, if he'll return your calls. TKATT true story. Once I had a flourescent light go out. Dave Sweeney couldn't figure out the lamp was gone. I have a hard time siding with U's when Sweeney wants $47 an hour and he can't change a bulb. I wish I was in Fla with you. I'll get down there soon. The Kid with the 8-ball

CommentsI saw the Stooges Marathon. Two of my favorites include the one where the special box gets cut in half with the band saw and the ensuing attempt at a glue fix, and the haunted house where the bird walks around inside the skull. For pretty much my entire childhood I recall being hypnotized by The Stooges. Great discipline tool for the Peeps, no clean room, no Stooges, homework not done, no Stooges. Then one day I poked my little sister in the eyes with the two finger Moe move and that was the end my relationship with Moe, Larry and Curly. Funny too these days how when watching anything related to the MA state house or the big house in DC, and any Stooges episode, you can seamlessly interchange them. Happy New Year all! TH: Mr Weeper, what is your plan to jumpstart the American economy?
MW: First of all we will make a meaningless vote to repeal Obamocare.
TH: Hmmm, And?
MW: Then we will try to cut medicare benefits for your grandma and raise the social security age for you.
TH: Go on
MW: We then will have a low wage strategy by diminishing workers rights ( kicking ass on unions ).
TH: You go boy! Anything else?
MW: Oh yeah! Then we will make another meaningless vote to repeal Wall Street reform and several other bills in the works to gut the middle class.
TH: Wow, you mean business. What about creating jobs?
MW: Jobs? We have created millions of jobs in Asia,India and throughout the outsourced world.
TH: What about jobs in America?

CommentsHold your horses there BD6. Like Coach Bill says, "there's still a lot of football left to be played." We still have to get by Miami and Buffalo, IN Buffalo! It seemed yesterday that the entire Sports Radio world had us beating the pants off Green Bay, "it's a lock", "we're gonna kill them", "they have no QB".... and well, didn't they just show up with a little something extra in their socks for us. I did not have the courage to watch the whole thing and went to sleep at the half with us trailing by 3. I decided I'd let myself be surprised when opening the door for the paper this morning. I wasn't really expecting to see that we scraped by with a measly 4 points. But then we only needed 1 point for the W and I don't care how we get those as long as we get them. Once you have a W it can't be changed into anything else. Simplistic? Yup. Now then, I humbly submit that I put all my eggs in Brady's basket (WooHoo), and hopefully we'll get the next two W's as well. Sometimes it pays to be clueless. In that I am an expert. And I do have to say one more thing...what the heck was up with that prissy, weird, long haired Green Bay guy? Did anyone else actually see him walk away from the interview at the beginning of the game and whip off his hat and fling his hair around like a girl???? I love long hair on men but this guy ruined it for me. Reminded me of the stoner that was in a few of Kevin Smith's movies. Except I never saw him flipping his hair....

CommentsI saw in the papers some B.S. about muggings in Southie. It might not be as safe as Mattapan or Roxbury but let me say this. Mike "the Bastille" Griff is out of Southie. Nuff said. I'm talkin' Joe Friday, Harry Calahan, Dano, and the Pink Panther rolled into one. You J-walk on Broadway and He'll lock his teeth into your ass like a pit bull. This is the guy who learned his trade from Tony Quinn, Jerry Sweeney, and Jimmy Driscoll. He's a living legend. The man has no fear. I consider it a pleasure and honor just to know the man. Let me give you an example how the "Bastille" works. Many, many years ago I was lifting a wheel from behind the BAC. Who rolls in but the "Bastille". I figure I'm dead. Unbeknownst, (you like that?), to me, there's a case of pornographic DVD's in the back seat. He put the piece to my head and said, "the rides all yours. But the DVD's are mine." Knowing the "Bastille" has Southie covered makes it easier for me to sleep at night. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family Mike.

Comments"Laying the interest out there"? How does one do that? Is that like rolling out sod for the lawn? Is it like cropdusting from an old biplane? We need to light this thing up, to borrow a recent phraseology....O.K. exercising restraint. It won't be easy but... Never was very good at sitting still so here goes....and good luck to Brendan. But wait, can't we just rent out The Boston Garden and send out an invite? Just kidding! C'mon Dot Peeps, belly up to the bar, I mean the Committee Table, and sign up. Mr. McClean and Mr. Donovan will lead us to the promised land....right?

CommentsHow about that? How about a Masquerade Ball with those fancy bird masks from the balls held in the Palace of Versaille? Grown up Trick or Treating next Halloween weekend on Saturday, the 29th of October We could really turn this into some craziness. Bobbing for apples, line dancing, costume contest, a magician, a raffle....there are a million possibilities! Music could be a mixture of a West Virginia Hills bluegrass folk band and a great Celtic band. Battle of the bands. We can eat with our hands ( we can use napkins only and save on the cost of utensils!), whilst listening to pipe and flute music a la the Prima Notte party in Braveheart. (Before the bad guys showed up, of course.) And no head smashing with rocks contests. By the way, I nominate myself for one spot on the planning committee. Responsible? I own and manage two small businesses. Alone. I have responsibility up the wazoo. Professional? Yup. Got that in spades. Full House....just kidding sort of. But I am serious about helping. My offer of help has been on the table for more than a year. It's already been done once, thanks to an obviously amazing group of people, let's do it again and kick it up a few notches!

CommentsYes! A reunion! Whenever, however. I will sign up for whatever is needed. Money, time, phone calls, name it. Thank you to whomever fixed the blog. Missed all of you. And the nonsense. Here's hoping Brendan wins. How cool would that be? He's too cute to lose the challenge. I started another blog just in case this one flames out again. Come say Hello. Or not! Its called "Ronan and St. Pete Redux" at www.thedoorwaykids.blogspot.com.ook. Reading "Keef's" book. Jaw on the floor. Who knew!? Having trouble walking lately...after seeing pics of Mr. Bundchen's, excuse me, Brady's hair. I literally have to sit down. For a week! And gee, guess who lost yesterday? Again! Yup. The lowly Trogs from Indy. At the beginning of the season I made what I thought was an insane and impossible guess, that we would go 14-2.....Holy Cow...now I am grinding my teeth week by week, game by game and we are almost there. Tickets to Texas, anyone? February! The weather is nice out there. Shinty, is that fountain frozen over? Anyway, Happy Holidays! Peace, People!

Dorchester is a dissolved municipality and current neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts, United States.[2] It is named after the town of Dorchester in the English county of Dorset, from which Puritans emigrated[3] and is today endearingly nicknamed "Dot" by its residents.[4] Dorchester, including a large portion of today's Boston, was separately incorporated in 1630.[5] It was still a primarily rural town and had a population of 12,000 when annexed to Boston in 1870. Railroad and streetcar lines brought rapid growth, increasing the population to 150,000 by 1920. It is now a large working class community with many African Americans, European Americans (and is still a center of Irish American immigration), Caribbean Americans, Latinos, and East and Southeast Asian Americans. Recently, there has been an influx of young professionals, gay men, and working artists to the neighborhood, adding to its diversity.[6][7][8][9]
